SAFETY INFORMATION FOR INDOOR FIREWORKS
(Including Indoor Firework Pack, Ice Fountain Candles and Indoor Sparklers)

Indoor fireworks are a great addition to any celebration when used safely. All the indoor fireworks on this site are designated as Category 1 (the same as a party popper) and have been extensively tested by the HSE . However, as with any pyrotechnic device, indoor fireworks can cause damage and harm when used irresponsibly or if the manufacturers instructions are not followed. Indoor Fireworks UK recommend that, in addition to reading the instructions supplied with your purchase, you read the following safety information and use common sense when handling and lighting the ice fountains, fireworks and indoor sparklers.

READ THE SAFETY INFORMATION ON THE PACK
Read all warning labels and instructions on each indoor firework and follow the directions carefully.

FIREWORKS ARE FOR RESPONSIBLE ADULT USE ONLY
Children should observe the indoor fireworks from a safe distance. They should not handle or light any of the fireworks. Adults should be responsible for the handling of all indoor fireworks products to ensure their proper use.

STAY SOBER
Anyone responsible for lighting the indoor fireworks should be of a clear mind. If you are under the influence of any intoxicating substance such as alcohol or drugs you increase the chance of the fireworks being misused.

USE A SUITABLE SURFACE

To ensure the safe use of the indoor fireworks, please light them on a suitable surface as recommended in the instructions.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE
Indoor fireworks should be observed from a safe distance, as recommended on the pack. Do not carry fireworks in your pocket. Obvious as this may sound, please do not attach fireworks to any body part. Never hold a lit firework in your hand (unless the pack states that it is safe to do so - such as mini indoor fireworks - please see below).

HANDLING INDOOR SPARKLERS
Sparklers can get up to 5 times hotter than cooking oil, so they must be handled with care. Ideally, gloves should be worn when handling fireworks (this may seem slightly eccentric when you are using mini indoor sparklers but it will protect your hands).

LIGHT FIREWORKS WITH CARE
Light fireworks one at a time, using a long taper. Do not hover over the fireworks when lighting.

ENSURE EACH FIREWORK IS EXTINGUISHED
After the firework has finished, ensure it has extinguished fully and leave it to cool before disposing of it. Immerse in water if necessary.

STORAGE
Store fireworks in the original packaging. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from children, animals and naked flames.

PETS
Fireworks can frighten animals. Keep all pets away from fireworks even when they are unlit and ensure they are stored safely out of reach.

Above all, follow the instructions, use common sense and treat fireworks with respect.
